Please see the full document also on this website.
Caroline Fredericksen (Neilsdatter) was born on December 5, 1835 in Eltang, Veijle, Denmark. She married Anton Christensen in 1855 while aboard ship coming to the United States. On February 3, 1856, they were sealed together in the LDS Church President’s office. They received their endowments on November 4, 1962, and were sealed again at that time in the Endowment House in Salt Lake City. They settled in Ephraim, Utah.
Caroline’s husband of 26 years, Anton Christensen was born on December 22, 1830 in Gesten, Ribe County, Denmark. He passed away on June 22, 1871, in Ephraim. He was buried in the Old Cemetery in Ephraim. The 1870 census shows their family just prior to his death.
It is not known how Caroline and Ole met, although they must have known each other for some time living in the same small town. They were married in 1874 in Ephraim, and Daniel and David were born in 1875 and 1877, respectively. Because of Caroline’s earlier sealing to Anton Christensen, Daniel and David Jacobson were Born in the Covenant under that sealing.
Caroline passed away on November 9, 1896 in Ephraim. She was buried on November 12, also in Ephraim, next to her first husband, Anton.
The 1880 Census shows the family of Ole and Caroline with Niels, Anton, Rossetta and Franklin Christensen, Grandfather Daniel and his brother David, and Ole’s son Jacob.
