George Downing 1556 to before 17 Jan 1610/11
He left virtually all his estate, including a house of his own, and the lease of
the house he lived in (called "The White Friars, " owned by William Hill of
London, merchant), to his 3 daughters, Susan, Nahomie and Abigail, all
unmarried, and made them executrices. He gave his books "at home and at
Cambridge" to Joseph Downinge. His sons had been well educated and apparently
well provided for. He died after 17 Jan 1610/11 in Suffolk, England.(260) He had
an estate probated on 3 Oct 1611 in Suffolk, England.
