Cleo F. Jacobson 1927 ~ 2007 Cleo Gene Fox Jacobson passed away at home Monday, February 12, 2007. She spent a stalwart year living independently despite the ravages of pancreatic cancer. Her loving children were in attendance. She was born June 4, 1927 at her grandmother's home in Vineyard, Utah. She was the only daughter of Clifford and Edna Hebertson Fox. She attended schools in Murray, UT. On September 29, 1946 she married Verdell Jacobson and they enjoyed 52 years together. He passed away February 19, 1999. She fulfilled many callings in the LDS church. She was secretary of the Primary for 17 years. She is survived by her daughter, Karla Nye (Floyd), Sandy; son, Terry, Salt Lake City; son, Scott (Margie), Riverton. Her family also includes six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, all of whom she adored. She is also survived by her brother, Dell (Laura), Portsmouth, N.H.; sister-in-law, Verona Pease, Midvale; many nieces; nephews; and cousins who will surely miss her birthday and anniversary cards. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Nyle and Arlen. She leaves behind a legacy of service and generosity. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 20, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. at the Hillcrest 3rd Ward, 5600 So. 435 E. Friends and family may call Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State Street, and Tuesday from 10:00-10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services.
